INTRODUCTION TO COACHING
This programme is designed for those that have none or little experience of coaching and are wanting to use this skilful intervention as a manager or personal coach to help others increase their performance
This programme is a 2 day CPD certified course that will introduce you to the fundamental practices of coaching. It is designed for those that have none or little experience of coaching and are wanting to use this skilful intervention as a manager or personal coach to help others increase their performance. When the word ‘Performance’ is used, you can automatically think of this in a work context. Coaching can be used in any aspect of life to help build better relationships, better rapport, career progression, stress management, personal life goals such as fitness, managing time, family life and so much more. If you are looking at this programme as a manager or taking your next step into management, some organisations are recognising coaching as a key skill of their people.
The beauty about coaching is you ‘the coach’, are not expected to have the answers for the people you are working with. The coach works in the coachee’s space and so to be ready to attend this programme you recognise that you are;
Ready to learn
Open to new ideas
Ready to challenge yourself
Stretch your potential
Ready to acknowledge personal interferences and recognise interference in others
Have a desire to help others perform to the best they can be
Prepared to keep personal judgement and opinions out of a conversation
Ready to focus on future possibilities and not past mistakes
Feel comfortable that you do not need the answers
Ready to listen
Coaching is a continuous learning cycle and upon completion of this programme, it will provide you with ?? hours of Continuous Professional Development ‘CPD’. This is a recognised standard of learning that you are able to submit to coaching bodies as evidence of your own development should you wish to move on to further accreditations. You can read more about CPD certification here……..
At the end of the programme, you will be provided with two certificates. An in house Tailored Learning Solutions certificate of completion and your CPD certified certificate stating the number of hours and units covered.
